Jose M. Farina – M.D., F.A.C.O.G. Dr. Farina is Board Certified by The American College of OB/GYN. He attended the Universidad Automoma de Cuidad Juarez, Mexico, where he graduated in 1983. Completed his training at Michigan State University in 1989 and has been in private practice since he has lived in San Antonio. Dr. Farina is a member of the American Medical Association, a fellow in the American College of OB/GYN, Texas Medical Association, The Texas Association of Obtetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Farina has a special interest in taking excellent personal care of his patients.
Christina E. Gutierrez – M.D. Dr. Gutierrez is a San Antonio native. She earned her undergraduate degree from Harvard Univeristy and received her medical degree from the University of Southwestern Medical School of Dallas. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She is a member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association and the Bexar County Medical Society. Dr. Gutierrez is fluent in Spanish.
Jerome C. Highsmith – M.D., F.A.C.O.G Dr. Highsmith did his undergraduate work at the University of Missouri. He attended medical school at the University of Florida, and did his internship and residency at the Bexar County Hospital (now known as the University Hospital). He bagan practice in 1983, and became Board Certified in 1985. He has been married to his wife Adrian for over thirty years and they have 2 adult sons.
Averell H. Sutton – M.D., F.A.C.O.G Dr. Sutton is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrcis and Gynecology. He has been in practice for over twenty years and with Central Women's Health Care, PA since its beginning in 1995. Dr. Sutton graduated from Meharry Medical College and completed his internship and residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. He is Vice Chief of Medical Staff for 2004 and Chief of Medical Staff elect for 2005 at Metropolitan Methodist Hospital. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the American Medical Association, National Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, Bexar County Medical Society and C.A. Whitter Medical Society (currently Vice-President). Dr. Sutton has a special interest in Uro-Gynecology (assisting women with The involuntary loss of urine). He is married with three children.
Kimberly Crittenden, M.D. Dr. Kimberly Crittenden earned her B.A. in Biology with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1997. She then went on to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas to receive her M.D. in 2002. She effectively completed her residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2006. Kimberly has an adorable son and loving daughter. She enjoys camping, fishing, photography, and spending time with her family. Furthermore, she is fluent in Spanish and enjoys getting to know and care for her patients. Kimberly is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and she is registered for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
